Based on the site of the former RAF Oakington base and surrounding farmland between Cambridge and Huntingdon, Northstowe is a new town with a proposed 10,000 new homes being built across the different phases of the project with housing for over 24,000 people.
Murform are carrying out the construction of reinforced concrete beam foundations, lift pits and ground floor slabs to an approximate floor area of 9,500m2 at the Education Campus on the Northstowe development. Featuring nursery, primary, special education needs and secondary schools, the facility will have teaching and learning facilities for more than 3000 pupils aged between 0 -19 and will be a fantastic addition to the new town.
