Loch Ness WTW

ESD

Murform are currently constructing the reinforced concrete elements of two large water storage tanks as part of the Loch Ness WTW scheme for ESD and Scottish Water. Both tanks are constructed in remote locations alongside the banks of Loch Ness near the towns of Invermoriston and Fort Augustus.

Murform are providing labour, management and temporary works solutions to both structures to the high standards required by our client to ensure the long serviceable life of the tanks. The internal finishes have improved surface hardness and reduced blemishes by the use of Zemdrain formwork liner installed on our formwork. Falsework support is by our in house skydeck with the support of Peri.

Our other scope on the project includes single-sided concrete surrounds to two large buried interceptor tanks, kiosk bases and a new forest track bridge.
