Branfil Primary School, Upminster – We have now completed our works on Branfil Primary School for new client Neilcott Construction. The new 2,100m², two storey wing to this school has been constructed from cross laminated timber panels supported by glulam beams and columns. Our assistance with design changes enabled the original tight programme of 9 weeks, to be shortened to just 7 weeks providing a more cost effective solution to the erection. The choice of materials used for this project has also meant in the long run 514 tons of carbon was eliminated from the atmosphere.
