Recently, Daniel and Catalan from our team in Orkney spent some time volunteering at a local charity shop, Mind-On, which raises funds for mental health services within the Orkney community.
With the goal of refurbishing the shop’s storage areas, the team rolled up their sleeves and got to work, temporarily relocating stock, installing new racking and shelving, carrying out repairs to existing storage, reorganising the shop’s stock and helping return everything to the newly refurbished spaces.
The result is a safer, more efficient environment for the charity and its volunteers, helping them make the most of their resources and allowing more of their funding to go towards the important frontline services they provide.
Getting involved with the communities we work in is something we’re really passionate about, and we’re delighted to have played our part in supporting such an important local cause. A huge thank you to everyone who got involved!
