Bromley High Street, Central London

Murform completed the groundworks and drainage along with the substructure and superstructure reinforced concrete frame (RC Frame) including columns, walls, and floor slabs for the Bromley High Street in Bow Central London for clients Thomas Sinden.

The scheme provides 3 affordable social rented units and 10 intermediate houses as well as private amenity space and a large communal garden.

This compact site on Bromley High Street presented significant challenges due to limited space for storage, access constraints with party walls on two boundaries, a front elevation constructed nearly up to the street pavement line, and a small rear courtyard bordered by a primary school. Due to space limitations, the tower crane had to be assembled on the public highway in front of the site. The total building area covered approximately 1,500m².
