We have just completed the 140 megapack foundations, 140 transformer foundations and 4 switch rooms for the main platform on this major BESS scheme in the Scottish Borders.
We are also progressing onto the HV compound where we are delivering 2 large SGT bunds and equipment foundations. We’re proud to partner with Knights Brown to deliver this critical energy infrastructure, which will become one of Scotland’s largest battery energy storage developments.
Strategically located between Scotland and England, the BESS will help address grid constraints and support greater integration of renewable energy by storing excess wind power. A great milestone achieved and another step forward in delivering the infrastructure needed to support the UK’s transition to a more renewable energy future.
